Getting Paid

Updated: Sep 22, 2021

Once you start completing projects on zimmi, you’ll want to be sure you can get paid!

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  1. There is a 20% zimmi admin fee for using the platform. That means, 20% will be deducted from all funds earned from your services. Keep this in mind when setting your pricing.

  2. You need parental permission before signing up with zimmi.

  3. Funds from completed projects are paid out to your preferred payment source 2 weeks (14 days) from the completion date of project. Keep in mind that this is the date that the client approves your project as competed.

  4. We will confirm your preferred payment method upon acceptance of your application.

Currently, we offer 2 payment options. Choose which works best for you and your goals:

  1. PayPal: PayPal is an online financial service that allows you to pay for items and receive funds using a secure internet account. It’s free to use PayPal to pay for a purchase or any other type of commercial transaction unless it involves a currency conversion. PayPal requires members be over the age of 18, which means you will need to use your parent/guardian’s account. All payments received on the PayPal account will be received from zimmi LLC, for easy note/reference.

  2. Stripe: Stripe is an online payment processing platform that allows businesses to send and receive payments over the internet. There is a small service fee for using Stripe. You can sign up for a standard Stripe account if you are 13 years old or older. Stripe requires that a legal guardian sign off on your Stripe account.
